About Steven Walters
My Story – A different kind of support.
My approach combines decades of practical problem-solving (not certifications) with the perspective I’ve gained through my own extraordinary life experiences (not certifications), including personal traumas and difficult periods that have shaped how I see the world (not academia) – I’ve an acute sense of practical measures that will likely help you – Learned the hard way, I’m not a Psychologist nor Therapist nor a Dr (of anything), but I’m pretty good at helping people.
I’m not selling anything, my initial aim will be to give you some free pointers, some free ways you can start to help yourself, I can hold your hand through day to day, week to week – try me, let’s see if I actually help.
After 30+ years, since 1995, I’ve learnt something important …
It’s never really just about your job, or your business, or about your income (though that’s important) – It’s about your clarity and direction.
A business doesn’t actually experience frustration, it’s just a business after all – it’s run by someone or a group of people.
… people are acutely unaware of their own Self-doubt, overwhelm or the pressure of trying to keep everything together. An entrepreneur would argue: They just do.
Why Nike’s “Just Do It” is actually more behind the time than they realise or care to realise.
Whether you’re running a business, managing family life, facing a difficult period or simply feeling stuck, the challenges you face are often more personal than practical – in these time “Just Do It” – “Just Doesn’t Cut it”.
Think about it, if everybody could “Just Do It”, there’d be no poverty, or, certainly heck of a lot less of it.
And there’d also actually be a lot less mental health issues.
Sure, we all need to help ourselves. A personal trainer told me recently in 2026: “Steve, this conference I just came from, the Speaker was interesting and had a really great point, he said: “It’s not your fault that your at where your at, but it is your responsibility.”
… whilst somewhat poignant, it does STILL dismiss the reality of mental health struggles. Some of us aren’t fortunate enough to afford Therapy and Self-Learning from expert help. Some of us who can afford, simply dismiss it and are almost certain they don’t need it or can’t benefit from it – Sadly, there are still quite a lot of those in society who simply don’t get it.
If you want a no-obligation chat, I am here for you. I can’t promise to fix you, and I’m not even professionally certified to call my self a therapist, HOWEVER, I’ve met ‘Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Hypnotherapists, DR’s (GP’s), and even New Age alternative therapists (Bio Energy Healers 🙄), who have all failed to help me – even worse, they would probably say I’ve failed myself.
So here’s how I feel I truly differ, and if this appeals to you or resonates with you: Give me a shout, let’s chat, I genuinely am putting myself out there to help people. Yes I need to pay bills too, but I’m not charging for our first attempt to help you, and I suspect, this approach might just unearth a way forward that helps us both, maybe even Group Support setting! Who knows, get in touch and try me, if you feel I can’t help you, then I’ll give you as many pointers as my experience tells me what might will likely help you.

When you know something needs to change but can’t quite work out where to start. We’ll explore what’s keeping you stuck and identify a realistic first step.
Getting unstuck
When you know something needs to change but can’t quite work out where to start. We’ll explore what’s keeping you stuck and identify a realistic first step.
Making better use of your week
When there are too many things to do, too many competing priorities or a growing sense that you’re getting nowhere. We’ll work out what matters, what can wait and how to make meaningful progress.
Working through difficult decisions
When you’re going round in circles, second-guessing yourself or struggling to see your options clearly. Sometimes an independent sounding board is all it takes to see things differently.
Turning intentions into action
When you have ideas, ambitions or responsibilities that keep getting pushed aside. We’ll break things down into manageable steps and work out how to follow through.
Finding your feet again
When life has knocked your confidence, circumstances have changed or you’re struggling to find your direction. We’ll start where you are, not where you think you ought to be.
Practical support, with a human understanding
My background is in business strategy, marketing and technology. For three decades, I’ve helped people identify problems, make sense of complicated situations and work out what to do next.
That practical mindset carries into my coaching.
But experience has also taught me that people aren’t machines. You can’t always solve a problem by trying harder, making another list or being told to get organised.
Sometimes there are deeper frustrations, fears or experiences that need to be acknowledged before progress becomes possible.
I aim to offer a space where you can talk openly, think things through and feel supported, while still working towards tangible outcomes.
That might mean leaving a session with a clearer head, a decision made, a plan for the week or simply one achievable action that gets you moving again.
The goal isn’t to make you dependent on someone else’s advice. It’s to help you develop greater clarity, confidence and control over your own next steps.
